Build on Frontelio.
Frontelio is the UAE-ready operations platform for multi-site frontline teams — cafés, restaurants, and shops across the GCC. These docs explain how to onboard your team, deploy phone-as-credential access control, and call the platform from your own systems.
If you've landed here from a demo or a sales conversation, start with the 5-minute Getting Started walkthrough — it takes you from a cold signup to a company with an outlet, invited teammates, and the Setup Pulse checklist finished. If you're evaluating Frontelio Access as a Kisi / Brivo replacement, jump straight to the Frontelio Access overview. If you want to call the platform from your own software, start with the API Reference.
These pages describe behaviour that is live in production, not a roadmap. Where a page disagrees with what the API actually returns, the API is right: tell support@frontelio.com so the page can be corrected. The release list further down is a short, hand-written set of highlights, not a full changelog.
Sign up, optionally explore with demo data, invite your team with sign-in codes and printable QR sheets, and work through the Setup Pulse checklist.
Turn every staff phone into a credential — for doors, rooms, lifts, lockers. Deploy a reader bridge or integrate with Kisi / Salto / Brivo / HID.
Authentication (user JWT, developer API keys, OAuth client credentials, reader keys), rate limits, error shapes and pagination, with links to the /auth, /access, webhooks and SCIM references.
Release highlights
Milestones from the May 2026 launch of Frontelio Access and these docs, newest first. This list is written by hand and is not a complete changelog: releases after v1.28.0 are not listed here.
The page you're reading. Self-serve docs for the Get Started flow, Frontelio Access (concepts + bridge + integrations), and the REST API.
Reference reader-bridge daemon for cafés deploying phone-as-credential access for the first time. Indicative parts cost with generic PN532 boards: about $75 for a Raspberry Pi 4 build including its power supply, about $25 for an ESP32 build (USB power supply extra). The source is not yet published in a public repository.
In addition to the GA Kisi adapter, three more provider integrations land in beta. Map external doors to Frontelio Zones in /admin/access → Integrations.
Time-limited contractor / inspector / driver passes with magic-link redeem flow. Closes the Kisi/Brivo 'visitor pass' competitive gap.
Generic AccessIntegration model — webhook receiver, door sync, zone mapping. Kisi adapter GA; webhook events flow into the same audit log as native taps.
Zones, grants, mobile My Access screen, /admin/access console, Android HCE service, /access/verify hot path. Included free on GROWTH and above.
Conventions used in these docs
We try to keep the structure obvious. A few things to know up front so you can read these pages quickly:
code is a file path, an HTTP path, or an env-var name.https://api.frontelio.com/api/v1. Replace with your self-hosted base if you're running on-prem.
